Who the desk is for

Sterling Capital Group is a brokerage and trading platform for clients who want a standard desk: an account number, a ticket, positions, statements, and a published fee schedule. It is built for listed markets, funds, and retirement sleeves on one blotter. It is not a social feed and it is not a signal service.

What you can do on this site today

  • Open an account and receive an SCG number.
  • Sign in to Sterling Active and use the paper ticket, positions, and orders.
  • Read product pages for stocks, ETFs, funds, bonds, options, futures, and FX.
  • Read the fee schedule before you assume a trade is free.
  • Look at delayed public quotes. They are samples, not a live entitlement.

What is not in force yet

This site does not claim FINRA, SIPC, CFTC, or FCA membership. Clearing, banking, and live order routing are not connected. The blotter is paper so the screen can be used. Do not send funds, securities, or crypto. Those instructions will name a legal entity, a bank, and a clearing firm when they exist.

Privacy, the legal notice, and careers each have their own page. The service desk is contact@sterlingcapitalgroup.info, 08:00–18:00 ET on weekdays.

One blotter for the whole book

Sterling Active is the working screen: account value, day P&L, positions, working orders, a watchlist, and the ticket. The symbol you leave on the chart stays there after a trade. It does not jump back to a default stock.

U.S. stocks and ETFs are $0.00 online. Options are $0.65 a contract. Futures are $1.25 a contract. Forex is a spread. The full schedule is on the pricing page, including the $25.00 assisted ticket and the fees that still pass through on a $0.00 stock order.

Hours the desk actually keeps

U.S. cash equities: 09:30–16:00 ET, Monday to Friday. Extended hours, when connected, are 04:00–09:30 and 16:00–20:00. Futures and FX print outside that cash day. The client center stays open after the bell so you can read the book. An open screen is not an open exchange.

The service desk answers 08:00–18:00 ET on weekdays at contact@sterlingcapitalgroup.info. A live trade desk, 09:00–16:30 ET, is named when market access is connected.

Accounts on the same platform

  • Individual brokerage: one owner, taxable, cash unless you add margin.
  • Joint brokerage: two owners, shared statements.
  • Traditional IRA and Roth IRA: the same ticket, a different tax sleeve. Sterling does not give tax advice.
  • Custodial accounts are requested through the help desk. The registration form does not offer that choice yet.
  • Options, margin, futures, and FX are separate agreements. Opening the account does not turn them on.

Open the account, then use the desk

Registration takes a legal name, an email, and an account type. You receive an SCG number and Sterling Active. Do not send funds until clearing and a bank are named.
