Costs

The fund’s expense ratio is charged inside the ETF. Sterling’s online commission is $0.00.

Same ticket as a stock

An ETF trades on an exchange, so the ticket matches listed stock: market, limit, stop, and stop-limit, during the cash session. Liquidity is not the same for every fund. A thin ETF can print wide even when the index it tracks is quiet.

The online commission is $0.00, the same schedule as U.S. listed shares. The fund’s expense ratio is a separate cost. It is taken inside the fund. It does not appear as a Sterling commission.
