What this menu is for

Investing is the product book: listed stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, bonds and CDs, IRAs, and the cash sweep. Trading, by contrast, is the ticket — order types, options, futures, forex, and margin.

Each card on this page is a full desk page. Open it for hours, costs, and how the order actually prices.

Where the position lives

A new client picks an account type at registration and receives an SCG number immediately. Individual brokerage is the taxable default. Joint is two owners. Traditional and Roth IRAs use the same blotter, with retirement rules on top.

The client center shows positions, working orders, cash, and the ticket. Until clearing and venues are connected, those figures are paper. They are there so the desk can be used. They are not live fills, and they are not a reason to send money.

How an order is priced

  • Listed stocks and ETFs use the cash session, 09:30–16:00 ET, with extended hours on the stock page.
  • Mutual funds price at the next NAV. They do not print like a share on the tape.
  • Treasuries are $0.00 online. Corporates, municipals, and brokered CDs are dealer inventory and can carry a markup.
  • Online U.S. stock and ETF commission is $0.00. A broker-assisted ticket is $25.00. Exchange and regulatory fees still pass through.
